Because you're dying to know . . .
What is 'The Shootout?
- The Shootout is a test of skill, greed and a little bit of luck!
How do I become eligible for the 'The Shootout'?
- The $1 added to your tournament entry fee automatically
makes you eligible for the drawing. You also have the
opportunity to purchase seven (7) additional entries for the price
of $5 - but only during signup. Once the tournament has begun
there are no more entries. (Eight (8) entries is the absolute
maximum)
How do I get selected?
- Midway through the tournament I will select up to three*
winning ticket from the entries and notify those individual of
his/her selection.
* I will draw up to three names until someone walks away with some cash. For
example, if the first player misses, I will draw another. If that player hit a trip and
walks away, there will be no additional drawings.
Then what?
- I will ask you to select a chip from my magical bag to
determine your number. You will then attempt to throw one (1)
dart at the triple segment of that number. If you miss the triple
on your first dart, your turn is complete and we continue with
the tournament.
What if I hit the triple?
- Great question! If you hit the triple, you get an option. A) you
can choose to walk away with $100 or B) you can risk it and
select another number from the magical bag. You will then
attempt to throw one (1) dart at the double segment of that
number. If you miss the double, you lose the $100 you won on
the triple shot, your turn is complete, and we continue with the
tournament.
What if I also hit the double?
- Then you're pretty awesome! And you get yet another option.
A) you can choose to walk away with an additional $250 or B)
you can risk it all and attempt to 'shoot the black' - a double
bullseye for the entire pot and a place in the history books!
So what you're saying is that I can hit the triple and the double
but if I choose to shoot the double bullseye, and miss, I walk
away with zero?
- Not exactly. If you attempt the double bullseye and hit a
single, I'll let you keep the half that you already won - but if you
miss the bullseye entirely, then you get a whole lot of nothin'.
How much are we talking here?
- Camden will add an additional $50 to the pot plus any entry
money received at each tournament. The current pot will be
posted on the website weekly and included in the Facebook
tournament announcement, if applicable.
